Robert G. Corirossi attended the University of Florida from 1971 – 1975 and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree, with Honors. Following his graduation, Mr. Corirossi worked for the United States Government as an investigator with the U.S. Dept. of Labor, where he received numerous superior performance awards and commendations.
Mr. Corirossi applied to, and was accepted at, several law schools, and chose to attend the University of Miami. He attended the University of Miami School of Law from 1979 – 1982, and received his Juris Doctorate degree. While attending law school, Mr. Corirossi interned with the Miami Dade County State Attorneys office.
Mr. Corirossi passed the Florida Bar Examination on his first attempt and became licensed to practice law in the State of Florida in November, 1982. Having satisfied all of the requisites for Florida Bar Certification, Mr. Corirossi passed the Board Certification examination and became Board Certified in Civil Trial Practice in 1991.
Mr. Corirossi holds the rating of A-V from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating available from that prestigious attorney rating agency.
Mr. Corirossi is licensed to practice law in the states of Florida and Colorado. Mr. Corirossi began his legal career in 1982 with Joel H. Brown, P.A., and later became partners with Joel Brown in the firm of Brown and Corirossi. Mr. Brown became a Miami Dade County Circuit Court judge and Mr. Corirossi continued the practice with the firm, then named Robert G. Corirossi, P.A. Joel Brown has since become the Chief Judge of the Miami Dade County Circuit Court.

Mr. Corirossi has spent his considerable career practicing in the area of Civil Trial law, with a primary focus on personal injury cases. His practice has focused mainly on representing plaintiffs on their cases, but he concurrently represented defendants for approximately 20 years, primarily the transportation companies owned by the late Sigmund Zilber, operating as Metro Taxi and Metro Limo.
Mr. Corirossi has represented plaintiffs in cases that have resulted in numerous million dollar settlements or verdicts, up to $6,350,000. Mr. Corirossi has been married since 1981 to his wonderful wife and they have one son.
